This page explains, in plain language, what Solarys does with personal data collected through this website. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who is responsible for your data

SOLARYS PROJECT - FZCO, P.O. Box 4333, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, commercial licence 72312, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@solaryspro.com.

What we collect

  • When you use the contact form: your name, your email address, the message you write, the language of the page you wrote from, and the IP address the message came from.
  • When you simply visit the site: our web server records the page requested, the time, your IP address and your browser type. Every web server does this; it is needed to serve the pages and to defend the server against abuse.
  • Nothing else. We do not buy lists, we do not build profiles of visitors, and this site currently runs no advertising or analytics trackers.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your contact details in order to answer the enquiry you sent us — that is, to do the thing you asked us to do. Before you send anything, the form asks for your explicit consent. Server logs are kept because running and protecting a web server is our legitimate interest.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the replies to them are kept for up to 24 months, so that a conversation which goes quiet can be picked up later. Server logs are kept for 30 days. After that, both are deleted.

Who else can see it

Our email provider (Spacemail, part of Spaceship) handles the mailbox where your enquiry arrives. Our server is hosted by Contabo, in Germany. Neither uses your data for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent or pass your data to anyone else.

Your data is processed outside the European Union

Solarys is based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for the UAE, which means your data is handled in a country whose data protection rules the EU has not formally recognised as equivalent to its own. We transfer it on the basis of the consent you give on the contact form and because it is necessary in order to answer you. In practice, the protections described on this page apply wherever your data is.

What you can ask us to do

  • Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it, if it is wrong
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Ask us to stop or limit what we do with it
  • Withdraw a consent you gave, at any time
  • Receive your data in a portable form
  • Complain to your national data protection authority if you believe we got it wrong

How to ask

Write to info@solaryspro.com. We will answer within 30 days. You do not have to justify the request, and it costs you nothing.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle data — for example when we add website analytics — we will update this page and change the date above, before the change takes effect.
